Dörfelt & Heklau p 432). Tode describes many new species and introduces the term Sclerotium. The author created genera like Hysterium and Sphaerobolus. Margins uncut, paper darkened, the folded plates slightly spotted. The second part (not present) has 64 pages and 10 more plates. Old wrappers, as delivered by the printer in 1790, with a handwritten label. 22 cm

Jakob Gabriel Trog (1781-1865) was a Swiss pharmacist from Thun, who dedicated himself to mycology after retirement. A fine copy of the second issue, called "wohlfeil" (inexpensive). But the text and the colouring of the beautiful plates are absolutely identical to the first issue, only the title-page had been renewed. Titlepage darkened.
